Nico Harrison is currently the General Manager and President of Basketball Operations for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Prior to this role, he spent over 20 years at Nike, eventually rising to the position of Vice President of North America Basketball. At Nike, he built strong relationships with many NBA players, including Dirk Nowitzki, which proved beneficial when he took the job in Dallas. Harrison is known for his networking skills, player development ideas, and ability to build strong relationships, something Mark Cuban highlighted upon his hiring. His tenure with the Mavericks has involved significant roster changes and organizational adjustments, most notably involving the Kyrie Irving trade.
